Since 1992<\/strong>, Mr de Tours has served as President of Atelier Rafael<\/a><\/strong>, based in Nice<\/a><\/strong>, where he has been actively engaged in the study, preservation, and creation of works of art. His professional activities bridge traditional conservation methodologies with contemporary artistic practices. In 2006<\/strong>, he expanded his international engagement by becoming President of KaizenGallery 2.1<\/a><\/strong> in Berlin, Germany<\/strong>, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and the promotion of contemporary art. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to his institutional roles, Rafael de Tours is a contributor to several reference encyclopedias<\/strong>, including EI3<\/a>, plans of architectures<\/em> (Encyclopedia of Islam, Leyden 2008) and Masjid Negara<\/a><\/em> (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 2015). He is the author of numerous articles<\/strong> on art history and creative techniques, and has produced technical documentation<\/strong> detailing the manufacture of materials and products used in the restoration of works of art as well as in the creation of contemporary artworks. His work reflects a sustained commitment to the transmission of knowledge at the intersection of art, science, and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
